I don't know this particular song but the rest is very good Melodic Metal with the great Kal Swan on vocals. Before this he recorded a LP and a Maxi with TYTAN (UK) which where better than LION and after LION he also made about 3 CD's with BAD MOON RISING, but they where not as good.DMR wrote:Has anyone heard the band Lion? I was watching the original Transformers movie and I thought their cover of the theme song was pretty cool, and sounded sort of Ryche-y. What's their original material like?
Also in the Band : Doug ALdrotch and Mark Edwards
I wanted to bump this thread because I've been listening to quite a bit of this kind of music lately (in particular the aforementioned Screamer LP). I'll add 2 more bands that haven't been mentioned yet: Hitt Man and Luv Hunter (the latter is a bit more comparable to early Fates Warning, but still recommended for fans of this style).

HELD UNDER / DISCOVERY are also part of the Seattle's melodic power/prog madness from the 80s

Been playing Heir Apparent today
Does anyone have the second Mercury Rising album? I think it's called 'building rome' or something like that. I only have 1 song from it; a friend of mine has been looking for it for awhile.
