First up, here's a rip of the Blood Money (uk) Friday rock show session on BBC Radio 1st of June 1987.As far as i know, this has never been officially released. If i'm wrong, then please remove the link.

Now, here's a strange one. A band called Playn Crazy with their demo "A Blaze in the cold" from 1990. Very NWOBHM sounding name, but musically has more in common with Mid 80s US trad/Power metal bands like Savatage,Metal Church etc. Cannot find ANY info about them online, but they are definitely a European band. Great songs, great production & catchy too. A real undiscovered gem.

As always, these have been ripped from my own personal collection at a rate of 320kbps.Not from other blogs or websites.
Enjoy!

Thanks for these. The Playn Crazy sounds especially interesting based on your description plus the fact that I've never heard this band before.
Cheers.

Thanks very much for these malegys.
BBC Friday Rock Show sessions from back in the day are always a treat to find, and your description of Playn Crazy sounds very intriguing too.
Great work.

The Blood Money session suffers a little from tape fall-out here & there, but nothing too drastic. This tape is almost 25 years old after all.

Thanks a lot for Playn Crazy, I will return with my thoughts, but it sounds like it was recorded with me in mind.

Blood Money!!!
Thanks for the session, it really sounds great.
By the way, have any of the albums been re-released on CD?, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to afford the vinyls.

Yeah quite sad. They have been bootlegs but no official re-releases. I would buy those in a heartbeat.

I cannot find ANY info on Playn Crazy. I've had this demo for ages now & there's no contact adress on the tape or any clues as to where they were from. Nothing online either.
