Ah man Iordan...

First "Cold Lake" then "Grin" and now "Chameleon". What's next? "This Time"?

He actually hates 'Grin'.

'Chameleon' is not bad and 'Cold lake' might be the best Celtic Frost album, but 'Grin' is among the worst thrash albums (or albums released by an ex-thrash band)

Hey Ion,

you can worship "Grin" next year when CORONER are going to play at Wacken Open Air.

I was actually referring to stormspell's preferences.. Personally, I don't find 'Grin' being that horrible and do not mind if they play a couple of tracks off that album.

I was kiddin'.

I don't know "Grin", but what I have read on here does not sound like I should give this record a try.
I hope that they also play some more gigs here in Germany, like a club gig in Berlin or something similiar (though it seems to be quite unrealistic  ).

I also picked up some glam lp's like BRITNY FOX, ROXX GANG, D'MOLLS, BANG TANGO for bugger all as well. I'm going for total Vince Neil worship at KIT next year

Yeah, I hate "Grin", it may not be bad alterna/grunge album by itself, but next to the name CORONER it is a big no-no for me. On the other hand I sort of dig "Tragic Intense" by Sacrosanct, so thrash-goes-alterna can be successful. "Grin" is a failure though, at least for me.

"This Time" is a great melodic NWOBHM just like Tobruk, Heavy Pettin' or Mammoth and I like it quite a lot.

Nice haul!! How much did you pay for that Voie De Fait LP, I've been looking for that one for a long time.

~20 euro, it's not too hard to find.

And yes, quite the haul. The metal markets you guys have over there are unfair, are all the world's metal records in Japan and Sweden? :P

Wow, this is total blasphemy starting with labeling this piece of shit "NWOBHM". This is terrible AOR and not even in the good vein like say Joshua - "Intense Defense". The band totally sold out.

Well, for me NWOBHM is not a style, but rather time-location frame. Thus, a lot of NWOBHM bands were MHR/AOR/Pomp-rock/whatever. Which is fine with me, given I like what I hear.

Calling "This Time" AOR would be a compliment, to me it`s nothing but pop/rock.
