Experience has taught me to be patient and not to hold my breath for anything or anyone. We'll just have to wait and see.

How come I remember that in latest Snakepit they said that Alex Savage is not doing the vocals? I'm not sure if I'm going to this KIT, I wanna see if there's something else happening in europe that I haven't been to. Need some new scenery&flight prices+work won't allow me to do so much travelling.

Must sees (roughly in order of importance): Arch/Matheos, Witch Cross, Ostrogoth, Sentinel Beast, Slough Feg, Anvil, Tytan, Portrait, Sword, Oz.

Maybes: Dark Wizard, NWOBHM anniversary.

Bands I don't know that I probably need to catch up on: Adramelch, Psychotic Waltz.

PW is a total must see if they play A Social Grace in its entirety, but could turn to a beer pause if they dilute it with tunes from the other albums (yes, I'm one of those folks which find Into the Everflow average and Mosquito/Bleeding pure yuck).

Bands must see for me (in order of preference):
SWORD (NO Sweet Dreams please!)
SENTINEL BEAST
MYSTIK
FUELED BY FIRE
PORTRAIT
ARCH/MATHEOS (Given they play mostly tunes from first 3 FW, with AtG in its entirety preferable!)

Not a fan of this album Iordan?

I would agree that it doesn't touch "Metalized" but there is still a few great tracks on it.

I'm totally buzzing about the ARCH/MATHEOS announcement, playing a set from their whole Fates career!

This was at the very pinnacle of my wishlist, only really paralleled by Mercyful Fate. Awesome.

If you like refined, elegant heavy metal (and you surely do since your avatar is one of the best HM albums ever) I bet you'll appreciate them. Both their old and new stuff is great. Maybe they are not the typical "live band" you expect to see at a festival, but the music is great.

Here's the title track from the Broken History album:

I believe this is one of the most beautiful Heavy Metal songs ever written.

Actually the lineup is the original one, except the singer. Don't know who the replacement will be.

Anyways, I will be there, got tickets already. I'm really looking forward to all the bands although have to say last year's lineup was slightly better.

Cole Hamilton is not involved... the replacement from what I hear should be a HUGE surprise. Almso the drummer will certainly be another dude than this stupid Anders.
