If I put it up for sale then I will mention it of course, since many of the cds I buy are resurfaced and the sellers never put that in the description and its really annoying. That being said resurfaced discs don't tend to affect the value that much from what I've seen.Avenger wrote: So when you re-sell the first copy you are going to mention that it was resurfaced, right?

Why don't you send the CD's back to them to begin with?slayerhatesusall wrote:If I put it up for sale then I will mention it of course, since many of the cds I buy are resurfaced and the sellers never put that in the description and its really annoying. But are there good "resurfacing" machines around ? I mean, that leave no 'clouds' after the work ...
Sadly I need to use one of these as I have 4-5 cds which skips on some songs due to single, deep, scratches ^^ (first Omen, Noisehunter, and a couple of others I don't remember =)
I think I have one cd resurfaced, but I got it like 10+ years ago, in all these years there was no improvement on the technique ? Or does it depend on the machinery quality/cost ?

Because its mostly all cheap cds I paid a few bucks for and its not worth the effort to return it, and usually its too good of a price to return despite the resurfacing. I mean the cds I get resurfaced usually aren't that bad, they have light marks but you can really only see them under a bright light, only one time have I had somebody send me a cd resurfaced with that disc doctor bullshit, that machine literally smeared the ink off the top of the disc and puts tons of huge circles and scratches on the bottom, needless to say I got a refund for that disc.Avenger wrote:

The really good ones that don't leave marks sell for around $3000+ each but I think that there is some companies that have them that you can send them to, and they will resurface the disc and send it back to you for a small fee.Helstar wrote:But are there good "resurfacing" machines around ? Yeah I like it a lot, sounds a bit like 70ish Black Sabbath with a female singer.Nasty Uwe wrote:Is it any good?faster wrote:Force (US) - MLP 1981
I know this band by the logo, but did never hear anything from them.

I think this should be considered "classic" actually. It has a lot of charm, the songs are great, the playing is strong and vocals are pretty original and work well within the concept of the band. I'd recommend this to anyone into "doomy" metal.faster wrote:Yeah I like it a lot, sounds a bit like 70ish Black Sabbath with a female singer.Nasty Uwe wrote:Is it any good?faster wrote:Force (US) - MLP 1981
