Info:

DEVIL was formed in 2009, with the intention of following the musical footsteps of blues based heavy rock bands such as Black Sabbath, Pentagram and Witchfinder General. Adding their own touch to the blend, the result also included one tad of the NWOBHM style and one of doom. After releasing the demo "Magister Mundi Xum" in 2010, DEVIL has already been busy touring with Electric Wizard, playing numerous gigs home and abroad, even as headliners, and making even more releases, such as the demo EP both on tape and vinyl, and the recent 7" EP The Noble Savage/Blood is Boiling. DEVIL has also already become a household name in some of the bigger European magazines, and the debut "Time to Repent" is highly anticipated throughout Europe.

Now ready for release, "Time to Repent" can best be described as a joyful ride to hell. The mix of swaggery doom, traditional heavy metal and bluesy hard rock, all in a authentic vintage package, consists of 8 songs, 5 of which is never before released. Bringing the Devilish rock and roll show to festivals and gigs in Europe also for the reminder of the year, Devil and their debut album "Time to Repent" will be a force to reckon with, and a pretty clear sign of a band you will be hearing a lot from in the years to come.

Tracklist:

1. The Welcome (1:05)
2. Break The Curse (3:16)
3. Blood is Boiling (4:16)
4. Time to Repent (5:58)

The fullength, Time To Repent, is out now. Received it today.

First things first...I usually only drink alcohol when I'm supposed to get drunk. I can count on one hand the times I've relaxed with a beer or a glass of wine without getting drunk.
Well, today is the day. This album makes me wanna drink a bottle of red wine and just lay on the couch with a big grin on my face, eating cheez doodles and playing the album again and again.
It's not that it's brilliant, it just makes me really happy. Happy heavy rock!
Anyway, it's much better than the demo, so I hope people will check it out. Good stuff.

Favorites so far is Blood Is Boiling, Time To Repent, Open Casket and Death Of A Sorcerer.

I ordered it from this site:

Devil and Cheeze Doodles, a match made in heaven? Don't have either at the moment, but I'll buy it soon (promise).
