Vulcan: weird psych/proto-metal/hardrock

Post by tomas »

I found this one on the almighty Crotchbatblog
crotchbat.blogspot.com

Weird stuff. Some killers, some fillers.
Very raw punky proto-metal with a light psych/garage touch. My favourites are 'High C' and 'Noname' (what a fuckin' riff!!!). Gotta love that guitarsound!!! Sometimes it's a bit crappy.
I'd love to hear what you guys think!

There's some other cool stuff on that blog as well.

Wow! If really so then I have to check them out immediately. They fit the N-standard no.2 :) .

I think I have the reissue. If you read that guys description on that blog from an ebay listing I think it got repressed, he even mentions the original bandmember (this is a one man band) was confused by the word "reissue" though in all honesty I'm not sure it is worth fetishising over an original pressing as the reissue is also old (from the late 80's I think).
you can get it here for $16, well worth the money:
