I see your point and to a certain degree I try to be like you (also because I'm not exactly rich either...).slayerhatesusall wrote: Good stuff, what you pay for them? I only buy cds if I get them for bargain price. To me, I regret having rare cds in my collection if I pay alot of money for them, it is much better to wait a while and find the cd for a good price then paying full price for it. Makes it that much rewarding when I actually do finally find the cd. Of course I will never find some certain cds because of this but I do get many rare ones this way. Unless your rich or something of course.
I have imposed myself this limit of 50 euro (was 50$ back then, when 1 dollar was paid 1.20 euro) for a single cd + shipping cost ... the only exception would have been the original Impact for which I was ready to pay 300 euro (but in the last moment the seller changed his mind and kept it lol ! Good for me in the end since there is the reissue now, so I'll be fine with that).
In the early eBay days it wasn't usual at all to reach the 50$ barrier (I remember the first Angel Dust and a couple of others...) but since end of 2009 (my comeback) it has become almost the normality ^^ and these 3 cds make no difference, I paid them 150 euro overall (but including registered shipping cost).
What I was trying to say is that you keep on writing "I paid 1$" "I paid 5$" and so on, and this puts your posts in this thread in a kind of bad light IMHO =)
To say it all the times (and in many occasions for doubles or triples of the same cd too) is starting to annoy or, even worse, piss other people off !
I think you don't do it on purpose (maybe), but my personal suggest is to keep things more relaxed without the need of always seem to 'brag', just my two cents eh ... then we live in a free world and you can do whatever you want, that's obvious.
This time since Heathen was curious then I've said the price, but if it was you asking alone then I wouldn't have posted the price here publicly, that's sure.
Also I don't make photos frequently (to do it too often would seem a total show-off), this must be the 4th time in 1 year and a half I think... and only because I've been asked in msn by multiple people ^^ Miranda is so slow to send files

150 euros is a pretty good deal for those 3 cds considering what I've seem em go for before. And I post the prices here so I can look back in a while and remember what I bought them for, not to insult people or something lol, I think the only people it might insult are people that bought the same thing but for a much higher price or are just disappointed they didn't see it first or something. And you were the only person to ever bring that up about my posts anyway.
Anyway, I just got these 3 cds:

Yes, 3 copies of the same cd, but different pressings. The top left one has an IFPI code, didn't know there was one with that, is it a bootleg or just a reissue?
Top right is american 1st pressing, center is german 1st pressing.
Only $45 for all three of em.

lol for the explanation ! You could sign the prices somewhere else (even a simple txt files), makes no sense to write it here since the forum is not really 100% reliable

Pretty sure it was just you, not sure why it concerns you anyway. Lol you think I am trying to brag about it or something, if I wanted to do that I would post something like this: "Haha I just got such an insane deal beat that price bitches my awesome bargain hunting skills pown you noobs only true bargain first presses are real all else are not kvlt enough only finding bargains is metal overpriced cds are false and don't entry"Helstar wrote:There are others, trust me, I knowslayerhatesusall wrote:And you were the only person to ever bring that up about my posts anyway.(and one did it publicly here too, in a more harsh way xD ! You probably didn't see it lol ! Maybe the post was killed by the forum crash and that's why ? Anyway, I'm too lazy to search for it now ^^)

Thank you for your kind words N.W.O.O.F.G.M.N.W.O.O.F.G.M. wrote: The Coven, which was one of my top wants, came from akis512. We agreed on a price, he sent me photos of the record, and we agreed on a price, since it was in the condition he described it to me. Couple of days later, it arrived, making me pretty ecstatic!
I too apreciate our smooth comunication. I am really happy you are satisfied with our deal. I can now add you to the many other guys who have bought from me and recommend me as a trustworthy and reliable seller (of course there are always some exceptions that only confirm the rule!).
Please check my other listings with rare vinyls and CDs
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has nought
To say the things, he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!

Yesterday arrived:
-Slander - Careless Talk Costs Lives 2 CD (Stormspell) (They just became my favourite nwobhm band, this one was worth every cent!!!)
-Vampyr - Cry Out For Metal CD (Stormspell)
-Anthemic - Counter Clockwise CD (Self released I guess.) (Thanks to Heathen for telling about it in the rare cds thread, otherwise I wouldn't have ever even known about it. I'd say it's pretty good and has weird and sometimes annoying vocals especially in the song called "Nocturnal Torments". It's like a mixture of slowed down Fates Warning and Watchtower, vocals in doomish parts sound similar to Etrusgrave. There are still few of them listed in Musicstack for a really cheap price, I say it's worth a try.)
-Sacrifice - Crest Of Black Reissue CD (Explosion Records)
Ordered:
-Lust - We'll Never Die CD (Cult Metal Classics)
-Mortuary Drape - Into the Drape / All the Witches Dance CD (Azerbemoth Records)
-Rampart - Voice of the Wilderness CD (Inferno Records)
-Abraxas - Tomorrow's World CD (Limb Music GmbH)
-Sabbat - Live Sabbatical Hamaguri Queen CD (Nuclear War Now! Productions)

It was just a "defensive" answer to his silly & childish offense about my posts. I don't really care if anyone posts the prices. It was just a reaction that "we don't care when you post the prices but we don't complain about that saying that it's useless like you said for my posts"Helstar wrote:It was Nebu ^^ and there are others who probably won't put their faces (and I understand the reasons), but ok if you think you're good, so be it.slayerhatesusall wrote: Pretty sure it was just you

It isn't the prices anyway, it's a general 'view' on his photos/descriptions (nobody has read my post, seriously... ?! I think it's well explained there - maybe it's too long that's why...).
But oh well, I'm out of this matter from now on
Slayerhatesusall, please keep posting your usual photos such as the 4th copy of INC bought for 5$, nobody will complain, promised ^^
