Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the big response we got for our band. We did make a cassette album and we cut a few other singles along with a video in the early 80's so maybe we'll start up a site or something to make it available. We traveled across southeast America and played some cool gigs along the way as well as going to New York a couple times to meet with labels. We were a typical metal American band just trying to make ends meet traveling from town to town (wherever our manager sent us) and having fun all the time. We had a cool road crew, a big truck with our name on it, a mega PA, and a light show with fog and all that stuff. We even accidentally burned our singer, Lex, one night with our flash pots in North Carolina! We had paramedics show up and it was crazy! We have lots of pictures and even a live show recorded from a big rock club in South Carolina. We had a big following at the time but some of us moved to Hollywood, California and we changed our name to Bad Influence and Warhead was history. It's all good metal fun and I loved every minute of it!
Please let me know if you have any questions about that awesome time before grunge and all that crap! Ha ha

I second this notion. A CD compilation edition of this material would be very cool.Khnud wrote:Package arrived yesterday. It's been a real pleasure doing business!
As for unreleased material - there are more than a few label owners registered here on this forum. Perhaps a re-release of the single + previously unreleased songs is possible?
More Warhead on the way!
Hi everyone, thanks for all the nice comments especially sgt. Kuntz. Our bass player, Erol, just sent me some more material that he's had for many years some of which is a board mix of a live show we did in 1986 but it's on cassette so I'm converting it to a digital file and can make CD's or posssibly put it on itunes and make it available that way too. It's actually much heavier than our 45 record. Our manager at the time thought we should put something out that was more commercial. You know how that is!
I also have a copy of our 1986 "Tonight We Rock" 4 song EP in cassette format that I'll be converting as well. Also, for those that asked I think I may have just one or two 7" records left and I'll send those out to the first
people that requested it and I'll send those guys emails.
Thanks and keep rocking! More Warhead to come!!
Bob

I can't say anything else than that Bob is a GREAT guy!
I sent him 23 dollars in cash in a letter (hidden with 3 layers of paper so it wouldn't show) and it seems the envelope got stolen or got lost in the post, or it hasn't arrived yet (more than a month has gone though!) but he sent me the single anyway without caring about my suggestion that I could send him another 23 dollars, with a comment something like this "I trust you, and I don't do this for money, only for the music".
I got the single today and it's KILLER!! THANKS BOB!
