Renegade was a Thrash metal band from Melbourne Australia that existed in the mid to later 80's, They Released one demo in 85 and a full-length album titled "Total Armageddon" in 1987. This rugged piece down-under thrash will now get revived with a new solid master and embedded on Vinyl & CD in the beginning of 2011. The Vinyl version will be a split label release between THE COFFINS SLAVE and good friends IRON BONEHEAD. I was wondering the same thing the other day and then forgot about it.
We had problems with the Beta Master and refused to ripp it from Vinyl, So after a lot of stress and Studios we FINALLY have the master from its original form.!
Im not going to set a release date, but CDS very soon and LP's maybe 2-3 months depending on press times.

You have my condolences! Only totally EVIL twisted minds can come with the idea of recording an audio master on Betamax videotapes using some primitive and crude external digital PCM convertors... I have one such project right now (spanning on 4 tapes no less!) and I've been kicking puppies for weeks! Aargh!
