I don't think we can assume that it will be back in print. CD market is shrinking and my guess is that this title is probabily one of the victims of this, it was just discontinued as it did not yield enough profit. It will not be back.

We had a similar situation with the Sanctuary CDs a few years back. Both titles have been in print and then they've just dissapeared, their price went up and never went back down.
Overkill is a pretty popular band when it comes to Thrash Metal. Even if Atlantic has no plans to ever continue producing new copies of this CD, I'm sure it will be licensed out to a smaller label that only focuses on Metal for example and they will re-issue it.

Like I said, I can't see this title "out of print" for very long.
It might come back, yes but if I imagine Wounded Bird Records doing the reissue (they did at least lots of Atlantic Records reissues) I can't see the price for the original dropping, since the quality of their reissues simply sucks. If a good reissue label (or Atlantic itself) will do it, everything is possible.

Atlantic has already re-issued this CD several times. All these auctions that you are now seeing for big money are re-issues.

I've been planning to buy Sortilege's same titled EP for a loooong time. What's a wise amount to pay for it and are there multiple legit presses?

I've always seen this one for around 25-30€, but maybe you can get it for half the price.

Many thanks, that would not be a bad price for such a great album.

Never seen a blue one but I've seen an orange (never seen an orange for sale though, just in a collectors photo some years ago in another site)

Christian Augustin was asked about a pressing in blue cover. He said it was a missprint and there are 100 or 500 of them out there! I don't think they are more than 100. I m prety sure I have seen it somewhere for sale.
Does anyone have a photo of the pink one? I ve never seen it!!!

I was talking about the black part of the cover being blue? Do we know how many were red and how many were pink? musik-sammler.de says there are some orange too! I am quite sure they are all mispressings of the original black-red!
How much did you pay for the pink?
