Atlantic has already re-issued this CD several times. All these auctions that you are now seeing for big money are re-issues.heavymetalmaniac wrote:It might come back, yes but if I imagine Wounded Bird Records doing the reissue (they did at least lots of Atlantic Records reissues) I can't see the price for the original dropping, since the quality of their reissues simply sucks. If a good reissue label (or Atlantic itself) will do it, everything is possible.Avenger wrote:Overkill is a pretty popular band when it comes to Thrash Metal. Even if Atlantic has no plans to ever continue producing new copies of this CD, I'm sure it will be licensed out to a smaller label that only focuses on Metal for example and they will re-issue it.pan_Heathen wrote:
I don't think we can assume that it will be back in print. CD market is shrinking and my guess is that this title is probabily one of the victims of this, it was just discontinued as it did not yield enough profit. It will not be back.
We had a similar situation with the Sanctuary CDs a few years back. Both titles have been in print and then they've just dissapeared, their price went up and never went back down.
Like I said, I can't see this title "out of print" for very long.

I've always seen this one for around 25-30€, but maybe you can get it for half the price.CloudsOfMetal wrote:I've been planning to buy Sortilege's same titled EP for a loooong time. What's a wise amount to pay for it and are there multiple legit presses?

Many thanks, that would not be a bad price for such a great album.Nasty Uwe wrote:I've always seen this one for around 25-30€, but maybe you can get it for half the price.CloudsOfMetal wrote:I've been planning to buy Sortilege's same titled EP for a loooong time. I paid double for the red one. Did you know itwas different,or it just turned out to be?
I guess the seller was ignorant. (if only it is a different pressing.....)
Excellent bargain anyway!!!
last summer at Wacken, at the merch section, i found i french seller with tons of french stuff (excess-drakkard-axton pryte-sortilege to name a few) and had this pink one. He told me the pink version was the first, and red was the reissue. since then i've been trying to find it online to check it's price and i got lucky 2 months ago...
