I really suggest that you stop using musik sammler as a guide as it's riddled with errors and incorrect information.
"Taking Over" has never gone out of print until perhaps very recently. All these new Atlantic CD's have the exact same inserts and disc prints as the first pressings because they have never changed the layout over the years and therefore all state the same release year. The only difference is of course the quality of the materials and the Matrix of the CD.
For example, the following CD here is a modern day re-issue:
It just so happens that this is the only copy listed on ebay at the moment so the retarded seller thinks that he can make big bucks. A few months ago sellers like redtagmarket had this CD up on ebay for $12.00 USD brand new.

My guess is that these prices won't last long. Even if Atlantic has stopped making new copies of "Taking Over" for the time being, I can't see the title being out of print for very long.

Agreed. People are simply stupid and have no patience. (Me too at times)
My steel isn´t true and that makes me a sad panda...

I don't think we can assume that it will be back in print. CD market is shrinking and my guess is that this title is probabily one of the victims of this, it was just discontinued as it did not yield enough profit. It will not be back.
We had a similar situation with the Sanctuary CDs a few years back. Both titles have been in print and then they've just dissapeared, their price went up and never went back down.
Any Ideas on VENDETTA "Search in the darkness" EP (1986)???
Popsike says $50, can this be a realistic price??
Furthermore I'd like to know how many copys have been pressed, both Vinyl and CD.
It seems, that both have disappeared from the internet...
(if someone might offer a copy, please contact me)

It also would probably be very hard for them to get the rights to re-release it seeing as its on such a big record label, I'm sure that in the future this will happen to a lot more cds that were previously cheap and easy to find.

Overkill is a pretty popular band when it comes to Thrash Metal. Even if Atlantic has no plans to ever continue producing new copies of this CD, I'm sure it will be licensed out to a smaller label that only focuses on Metal for example and they will re-issue it.
Like I said, I can't see this title "out of print" for very long.

Found a bunch of vinyl today, and I am wondering how much I should pay for:
King Diamond - No presents for christmas 12" maxi
Tyron Pace - Eye To Eye
Sepultura - Arise (Roadrunner)
Flotsam & Jetsam - No Place For Disgrace
Slayer - Hell Awaits (Roadrunner)
Mace - The Evil In Good
High Power - High Power
Roksnax (compilation 1980) (with Vertigo inner bag though :/)
Mercy - Swedish Metal
It's also quite good so I can easily recommend paying up to $50 for it. It sometimes sells for more, but turns up often enough that I would say wait for the next one if it's more than that.
I can find some sealed copies of Judas Priest's Demolition gatefold 2ble LP. I know it is quite rare, but I don't know its exact market price. I found some sealed copies in popsike sold for around 50$! I am kurious how much will they cost now?!?!

It might come back, yes but if I imagine Wounded Bird Records doing the reissue (they did at least lots of Atlantic Records reissues) I can't see the price for the original dropping, since the quality of their reissues simply sucks. If a good reissue label (or Atlantic itself) will do it, everything is possible.
