Rumors say that Italians communists scums like Red Brigades were for many decades involved in terrorism. It was said that there were postal delays in Italy from Germany because Mexico's soccer team has failed in World Cup of '90...

Btw, today I've received two cds, one from Finland (1 DAY !) and one from Usa (normal 20 days shipping time). I guess I can confirm there is a problem only from Germany - but I buy 90% of my cds from there. Damn.

Anyone knows how is the USPS Priority Mail International (small flat rate box) service better than the standard First Class Mail Intl? Is it supposed to be faster? (I have plenty of examples it is not, maybe even slower) More reliable? What is the excuse that it is much more expensive?

Interesting question (thank God one on topic!).

I think it's more reliable & better for 3-4 cds. And it's not "much more expensive". If you include 4 cds the cost will be $13.45. 4 cds with the cases via first class would not be less than $10.
It also depends on the State. It takes 5-7 days to me via first class from NY/MA & similar states because all the international packets fly from NY. But the box could take 2 or even 3 weeks besides the fact it's "faster". every now & then the system sucks, once it took 25 days from Illinois via first class & 11 when I used the priority box. In that case it was the best option.

I don't think. Waiting for the Dwarr LP for some weeks now and packages from Hells Headbangers and Rockadrome. Normally these arrive in 1,5 weeks tops.

same here from US,2 cds i ordered almost 4 weeks ago from redtagmarket on ebay
