LAUREL PATH (GRE) - The Faithtrip Demo 1996

Post by ION BRITTON »

Another greek prog metal from the 90's. Would prefer something more powerful myself, but I suppose prog fans will probably appreciate it a lot more. They released one more demo the previous year. The demo is in one track.

Thank you very much! I have been searching over a decade for this demo.

Also, I don't think that Laurel Path's music can be described only as Progressive Metal. The Doom Metal elements have taken the upper hand, however, the song writing is more adventurous, hence Progressive Doom Metal perhaps?

The "Doom" label got me interested. Will check this out.

Well, it's slow and melancholic most of the time, but not much 'Doom' IMO.
