Shiva - Firedance

Post by N.W.O.O.F.G.M. »

Mex would like to hear this one, and since that British Steel CD is no longer available, here is a nice rip at 256Kbps from said original CD, for anyone else that might be interested. It also includes 2 bonus tracks, from the Rock Lives On single.

NWOBHM, or better yet, Hard Rock, with a Progressive touch, kind of like Rush migrating to the British islands. If you are into good ol' melodic British sound, check them out!

Hard rock, no man. Defintively heavy/prog with some heavy metal attitude.

I was lucky enough to find a couple of the re-issue in a forgotten 70s psych shop at a cheap price.

Nice album with some gret guitar work and Rush-ish vocals.

Thanx for bringing my attention to this one. I hadn't heard it for 10+ years so I was about time to give it another go. I really liked "Wild Machine" and "Shiva" but as a whole it goes into far too many directions for me. With those 2 tracks in mind, should I check out "Continuance"?

LP is not hard to find. Awesome record. "Call Me in the Morning" isn't really my cup of tea but still well done for that sort of ballad.

Very odd record. I never know what to call it. Wild Machine is a fantastic song though.
