Solitary Sabred
Update:

"Oaths have been sworn, allegiances have been sealed in blood and virgins have been sacrificed (what a waste!), to seal the deal between Solitary Sabred and Steel Legacy Records. We feel deeply honored to be label mates with legends as Zions Abyss and Kings Ransom. Thanks to Kostas and Panos, we will try our best to justify their confidence in the band by releasing one hell of a debut album…

…which brings us to the second piece of news! The Sabred will be entering Network Project Studios in Nicosia with producer Alex Makris on the 15th of December, to commence working on their first full length release, entitled “The hero, the monster, the myth”. We will of course keep you updated with more details as the recordings progress, needless to say we are psyched and are already working hard chiseling the final details in the compositions, in order to be 100% ready for studio mayhem!

We are also setting up a couple of local gigs for the holiday season, more info coming soon.

On a final note, we launched our official website @ www.solitarysabred.com, which will be updated very often with lots of band related material, so keep checking back!

THE BLOODLUST IS SACRED (and soon recorded :P) SOLITARY SABRED!

Blessed be,

-Petros, Jimmys, Achilleas- "

Ok I haven't listened to any of this stuff yet, I will, but why, on, earth, if a bunch of people so love the 80's do so many keep on coming up with absolute shit CGI covers? And really, the level the writing(text) is on is abysmal, metal shouldn't be stupid and unimaginitive.

In fact that Solitary Sabred is maybe the WORST cover I've seen in ages.

Anyway, Lethal Saint; ok. It's too easy to be harsh when just listening to sample after sample but if something doesn't impress me then it doesn't.

Diphtheria; very shit name, overall the music was ok, a few good moments.

Solitary Sabred, absolutely ridiculous name, some of the vocals are very annoying; when the vocalist sounds like a whingeing little girl. Again the music is ok but isn't exciting to me - there's just too much stuff around and this ends up being my reaction.

R.U.S.T.; there's something I really like about them, good vocals, great melodies, great guitar, right atmosphere! Will keep my eye on them.

Fallen Angels; vocals are not the best, music is again ok.

Arryan Path; bleh.

well, everyone has it's tastes...

But is common sense that the Solitary Sabred CD kills, rapes and bloodspills everything in its way

But again, this is only my opinion...

I've heard the Solitary Sabred, the vocals simply lack guts sounding really lame at some points The singer tries to sound more US metal-ic than the classic US metal vocalists themselves, his performance doesn't really convince me. Musically it's quite decent, but that stuff has already been done with more class and style in the past.

Arryan Path's second demo is fantastic. Their album was kinda disappointing though.

Haven't heard the others yet.
