When I got the news of my dad's cancer three weeks ago, I almost sold my ticket, but I've decided to go anyway. We won't get the biopsy results until next friday anyway, so there's nothing I can do.

Thanks man. We've not given up hope, although it looks pretty bad.

Hope everything goes well. Lost my old man to cancer last year so I know what it's like. Will cross fingers.

Me not, unfortunately. Such killer line-up there, many bands I'd love to see live...
Hope you all have a good time.

Fucking best fun I've had in ages. Brilliant festival!

It was really cool meeting DaN, Khnud and Apollo.Ra, and them all turning out to be such nice people, I had a blast with you guys.

Definitely going back next year.

I came home last night, slowly starting to recover. Great fun, first two days are quite hazy but at saturday I managed to see all the bands I wanted to. More of it all later with some pics.

Hell Yezz, another awesome fest! The 2x15 hour drive from&back to Stockholm aside it was all smiles and smooth sailing.

Here here :D

Best show? I'm leaning more and more towards CULPRIT. I didn't expect too much coz their LP is only a medium-fave in my book but by Crom did this band deliever! A Perfect Heavy Metal ROCK SHOW! Even the bass-solo ripped..

JAMESON RAID were brilliant of course. It's always special to see a complete original line-up of such an old & culty band and even if the performance was pretty laid back you could tell the guys had a great time.

OMEN always delivers. It was my 3rd or 4th time seeing them but I could never get tired of watching them play their supercatchy, archetypical US Steel live. They should get hired as the house-band.

I haven't listened that much to TOPT, DEMON or SOLITUDE AETURNUS in my days but they all made great shows and exceeded my expectations.

The guest performance from 2 JJ'S POWERHOUSE guys together with ROXXCALIBUR was a nice surprise as well..

more rants when memory+time permits..

They were alright I guess. I was planning to return to their albums shortly before going off to the festival but forgot about it, so I wasn't too up-to-date with their music. I'm sure they missed playing some of my faves off "Steel & Starlight" though :?

They were good imo...but I can't remember in details.
The festival was a success and have had a lot of fun.

I've missed some bands though: S.A., CULPRIT and BLOOD FEAST.
