Neither the greatest nor the worst of all those super-rare US 7"s, I still thought this one would be worth a rip'n'upload - surely the first one out there:

What we get is good melodic Metal from te' Amerikats, anno 1985. Ignore the wimpy barf of song #2 and pay extra attention to the great closer, "Wake Up".

Thanks for this one.To tell the truth I expected a bit more from this record.I remember lildogtoo auction with one soundclip from Can't You See song few weeks ago and I thought that remaining songs will be in the same direction.Anyway fans of PRIVATES should enjoy this one.Not just because music but also obscurity aspect.

Cool upload, thanks! I remember glockose's auction a few weeks ago too; this one got over $200 so I never even got a bid in for it. Seen it on many want lists.
'Can't You See' is the only seriously heavy number on here. But 'Wake Up' is pretty cool too. I also don't mind the opener 'One of a Kind', though it does have more of a triumphant 'arena rock' sound. 'Eyes of Fire' is a miss. Side B is much stronger. Decent, though not killer, lil' 4-track 7" EP

i was curious about this since its rare when i dont like US metal
indeed "wake up" was the best track, but overall this band is just too damn light in some parts that just makes you lose interest sooner than expected
interesting rarity,nothing extraordinare
can´t you see the heaviest and best track here too

A-side was rubbish, b-side was decent though. The keys are higher than they should in the mix. Not very metallic as a whole I'm afraid. Thanks for sharing this rarity, Dan.
