Finally found this on a Russian forum.
The costumes and artwork are probably better than the music. I mean, I don't hate it or anything. That Attack Bat song is pretty cool.

Ah, ok.GulliverFoyle wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 2:02 pmMy comment wasn't refereeing to you, it was rather a general comment on how you could manipulate the stats there
One interesting thing I noticed: a lot of rarer releases are easily available from Russian sellers, at good prices too. Are most of those bootlegs?

What are you talking about? I collect to listen to. I've never sold a CD, and haven't sold a vinyl in 25 or 30 years.GulliverFoyle wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 7:24 amPlease, you can easily manipulate the stats from discogs with your buddies... Cd collectors are even worse...

Re: Specific Hardcore-punk/ Metal bands
I'm listening to Zoetrope now, it's punk influenced, not every song but a lot of them, perhaps most of them. The albums as well as the demos.

Re: Metal Collecting ..only for the rich & elderly?
Prices of new albums are ridiculous too, including reissues of old albums and older material not previously released as albums, as well as newer music. I see them for 22-29 Euros regularly, hardly ever 15. I haven't even bought any metal vinyl this year, I bought some folk cheap the beginning of the...

Re: Proto-metal song thread
compared to the rest of the so called "western" world, we were quite behind as a continent. kids who went from AC/DC to Slayer in just a matter of months. The same kinda thing happened later in the European Eastern Bloc. Is there some kind of historical or cultural reason why Uruguay seem...

Re: Proto-metal song thread
This whole album is pretty doomy. By the way, there is no "Population I", it was the name of the band/project because there were only two people in it and the drummer played the bass lines on a keyboard at the same time. It's also an astronomical term for a s...

This band opened for some of the biggest bands in the day, but for some reason are not that well known.

I find it a lot more to be in a folksinger style than Ashbury style, but great song nonetheless.bigfootkit wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 4:48 am Stumbled across this song on YT earlier & thought it had a heaped spoonfull of 'Endless Skies' era Ashbury vibe:

They're pretty well known, but for some reason I never listened to Vanilla Fudge. From 1968 and the whole album is kind of like this.

Proto-metal song thread
I thought it would be interesting to make a thread about songs which seem way ahead of their time. Not necessarily bands which played heavy all the time. I suppose there is no need to post "Rumble" again as on other forums, everyone has heard that one and knows about it, I hope. 1968 [yout...

Sacrilege, the UK crust/thrash/doom band.
