Land der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten, zumindest in Sachen Metal. Obwohl uns ja immer wieder erzählt wird, der Metal ist tot, erblicken doch fast täglich geile Scheiben das Licht
der Welt. Nachdem der kleine Troll sich in Form einer CD in meinen Postkasten eingenistet hatte, bekam ich Mitleid und erklärte mich bereit, das musikalische Schaffen anzutesten. Schon beim Blick ins Booklet fiel mir die Bandbesetzung mit gleich 3 Axtschwingern auf. Nun gut, wollen wird doch mal horchen was die Band so zu bieten hat. Und nun kam die zweite Überraschung. Ich musste die CD gleich viermal am Stück anhören. Was für ein feines Teil. Melodischer traditioneller US-Metal, der so richtig abrockt und eine magische Wirkung erzielt. Die Rhythmusfraktion erfüllt alle Erwartungen an die guten alten 80-er und der Sänger und Songwriter Tom Mayo ist absolut top. Bei dieser Art von Musik habe ich doch ein Grinsen von einem Ohrläppchen zum anderen im Gesicht.
Von Songs wie z.B. "Nostradamus" und "Beyond the promised land" kann man einfach nicht genug bekommen. Also schaut doch einfach mal auf die kleine Homepage der Band.

Land of unlimited possibilities,as far as Metal is concerned at least. Although we are told that Metal is dead a lot of great albums see the light of day almost daily. After the little troll had nested inside my mail box I felt pity for him and decided to check out his musical work. Looking at the booklet I immediately realized the band constellation with three axemen. Okay,let's see what they have to deliver. And now to the second surprise. I had to listen to this CD four times in a row. What a great piece of traditional Melodic Metal that simply rocks and creates a real magical feeling. The rhythm section totally fulfils my expectations concerning the good old 80ies and singer/songwriter Tom Mayo is simply over the top. This kind of music puts a very broad smile from one earlobe to the other on my face. I simply can't get enough of tracks like for example "Nostradamus" and "Beyond The Promised Land".Just have a look at the band's little homepage.
