STEEL ASSASSIN haben sich älterer Songs angenommen und diese komplett überarbeitet. Soundmäßig ist das natürlich eine enorme Verbesserung, aber auch in Sachen Dynamik ist es ein Gewinn. Nie klangen die alten Klassiker besser und natürlich sind sie auch songmäßig etwas verändert. Ob einem nun die neuen oder die alten Versionen besser gefallen, ist Geschmackssache. Ich denke, beide sind auf ihre Art gut. Für US-Metalller ist die Scheibe also auf jeden Fall äußerst interessant.

Old songs new recorded. As the STEEL ASSASSIN band is activ since the glorious 80s this makes use and this special case it worked very good. Especially the sound is very powerful and shows new fans of the band the good song material which is based on typical US-Metal riffs you might expect from an US-Metal band.

The album will be available as LP and CD version so all US Metal fans will be happy. A pity that there are only 8 tracks on the album. The playing time is over too fast. Even if you have the old albums from STEEL ASSASSIN in your collection "In hellfire forged" is a useful addition.
