Das dürfte für US-Metal-Fans wieder mal ein gefundenes Fressen sein. Gesanglich in den normalen Tonlagen etwas an Bruce Dickinson erinnernd werden in den hohen Bereichen typische Texas-Metal-Elemente gebracht. Songs wie "Attack of the Ibox" oder "40 days" überzeugen durch Eingängigkeit UND Eigenständigkeit, was mir persönlich gut gefällt. Immer dann, wenn die Band die typischen komplexen US-Metal-Strukturen verläßt,wird es für mich am interessantesten, weshalb ich mit einem Song wie "The darkest hallways" rein gar nichts anfangen kann, der aber sicher dem spezialisierten US-Metal-Hörer gut gefallen wird. Insgesamt ein Album, welches durch groß geschriebene Abwechslung einiges zu bieten hat.

Especially for US-Metal-Fans the band SEPTER plays a sound which reminds at the vocals sometimes on IRON MAIDEN, but only when the vocalist sings in not too high spheres. Allways when the voice goes into higher regions its more typical Texas-Metal, but the songstructers vary from traditonal to more complex stuff. I prefer the traditional sound like "Attack of the Ibox" which is my favourite song from this album beside "40 days". The variety is quite big on this album, so you will find from ballads to powerful Metal a big range of music! Well done and for me a big step from the debut-album to this far better work!!!
