Nitefall: Red moon rising

Die EX-Thrasher von SEVERE WARNING haben Anfang der Neunziger ein paar Demos eingespielt, die nun als CD zu haben sind. US-Power Metal mit Doom-Einflüssen gibts zu hören. Das wirkt manchmal etwas gleichförmig und der Sound ist auch nicht überragend, aber NITEFALL überzeugen durch gutes Handwerk und einige interessante Songs.

Eine bessere Produktion hätte hier sicherlich viel verbessern können, so bleiben ein paar gute Songs (sehr gut ist "Don't break the seal"), ein manchmal etwas durchschnittlicher Sänger und ein gutes Coverartwork. Für US-Metal-Fans sicherlich ein gefundenes Fressen, die anderen hören besser erst mal rein.

US-Power Metal with some Doom-influences. The Demo-sound is not really strong and gives the songs not the "surrounding" they wold deserve. Some fine moments can be heard ("Don't break the seal") and for US-Metal-fans the album is really interesting. A nice coverartwork makes the decision easier!
