Militia: No Submission Demo

Review

With the departure of the string master Tony smith, the band had a change in
their musical direction. This two track demo tape is different. The technique still prevails, but much of the power is gone, simply coz the band tended to create much complex music, leaving behind the speed and power of the first demo and the 12". The high vocals of Mike are still present as
well, but not much used this time, but in no way that means that are bad done. "Talking to the stone" and "No submission" are the titles of the two trax, being the later one the best, simple coz it has more power and even velocity, without forgetting to name the guitar solo. The sound quality is
ok, but the kind of technical Metal MILITIA played, needed an straight forward kind of production, which this demo doesnt have. But after all, its a very good tape to listen to and check a rawer side of the band. I wonder how they would have sounded if all their stuff were recorded in a proper way.
