Eins vorweg: Der schwarze Ritter auf dem Cover des Demos von 1987 gefiel mir persönlich besser als der Friedhof von 2007! Aber was zählt ist die Musik und Matthias Steele haben ihren Stil überhaupt nicht geändert,sie spielen nach wie vor 80er US-Metal im mid-tempo Bereich mit sehr viel Power.Das Wichtigste: Matthias Steele sind unverkennbar und haben ihren ureigenen Stil, der bei vielen neueren US-Metal Bandseinfach nicht vorhanden ist.
Nach 20 Jahren haben Matthias Steele es also geschafft ihre erste full-length CD aufzunehmen ( 11 tracks ).6 neue Stücke sind dazugekommen,5 tracks gab es vor ein paar Monaten schon als 5-Track CD-R.Der 5-Tracker konnte nicht wirklich 100 %ig an das 87er Demo anknüpfen,die 6 neuen Stücke können es aber sehr wohl:Hört euch nur Gods of Life an ! Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum 20 jährigen Bestehen von Matthias Steele!
Ich hoffe,wir müssen nicht 20 Jahre bis zur nächsten CD warten.Kaufempfehlung!

First of all: The black knight seen on the Cover of their Demo from 1987 I like much better than the cemetary from 2007 ! But important is the music and Matthias Steele don't change their style during the last 20 years.They are still playing 80s mid-tempo US-Metal with much power.Most important: Matthias Steele are unmistakable and have their own profile,which has been lost listening to new US-bands playing 80s Metal.
After 20 years Matthias Steele has released the first full-length CD ( 11 tracks ).6 new songs has been added,5 tracks were released as CD-R a few months ago.
The 5-track CD-R couldn't tie up to their Demo of 1987 for 100 %,but the new 6 songs do it without restriction: Listen to Gods of Life !
"Happy birthday" Matthias Steele for existing 20 years! I hope we all don't have to wait 20 years again 'til the next Matthias Steele-CD will be released.Buy Resurrection!
