Und wieder ist eine US Band angetreten den Weg aller truemetallischen Pfade zu beschreiten. Oh welche Freude, dass die alten Tugenden in den Herzen vieler Metaller bewahrt wurden. So beschert uns Legion mal wieder ein Sahnehäppchen welches man im Jahr 2005 nicht unbedingt als Selbstverständlichkeit betrachten kann. Das Gitarrenduo Adamo bedient doch endlich mal wieder Äxte, die so richtig geil rüberkommen und die man endlich auch mal wieder als Gitarren erkennt. Riffbetonte Songs mit einem Gefühl für Harmonien werden hier zelebriert. Meine Faves dieser CD sind "The Watcher" der die epische Seite der Band präsentiert und "Stay away" mit
knapp 10 Minuten Länge mit einem absolut geilen Gitarren-Soli zum Ende des Songs. Gebt dieser CD eine Chance und nehmt sie in eure Sammlung auf. Da gehört sie hin.
Um noch eine kleine Orientierungshilfe zu geben: wer Dio mag, ist hier genau richtig.

Here is another US band that has come to walk the paths of True Metal. What a delight to see the old virtues being kept within the hearts of many Metalians. Legion deliver us a gem that cannot be expected as a matter of course in 2005. The two Adamo guitarists wield their axes in a way that they can easily be noticed as real guitars. Riffladen songs with great harmonies are celebrated here. My personal faves are "The Watcher" presenting the epic side of the band and "Stay Away" with its 10 minutes playing-time and a totally great guitar solo at the end of the song. Give this CD a try and add it to your collection. That is where it belongs. If you're into DIO this one's for you, just to give you a little help.
