Jacobs Dream: Dominion of darkness

Review

Einen hervorragenden Sänger haben JACOBS DREAM und so tönen die Songs auf "Dominion of darkness" allesamt sehr angenehm. Spielerisch ist natürlich auch alles im grünen Bereich. Das Coverartwork umrahmt das mystische Grundkonzept des Albums. Vielleicht manchmal etwas zu wenig spektakulär kommen ein paar Kompositionen, aber Songs wie z.B. "Hero" benötigen mehr als einen Durchlauf, um richtig zu zünden, dann überzeugt jedoch die Klasse der Stücke. Schönes Album!

The very fine vocalist gives the band the certain touch. The epic songs convince after hearing them twice and the cover concept fits perfectly to the misterious image and sound of this CD. Maybe some will call it unspectacular, but the songs need to be listened to carefully to find the special magic. Interesting album.
