Review

CUTTHROAT spielen US-Metal mit melodischem Einschlag. Ich würde im Härtevergleich ACEIUM heranziehen. Der Sänger schreit manchmal US-typisch hoch, bewegt sich jedoch überwiegend in angenehmen Tonlagen und eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit zu älterem MANILLA ROAD-Material (Crystal logic) ist nicht von der Hand zu weisen, besonders beim sehr starken Song "Battle rages on". Nicht alles ist auf der LP Gold, aber einige sehr gute Songs sind zu finden und die Anschaffung lohnt sich für Traditionalisten in jedem Falle!

Some sceptical voices may shout now that Retrospect made a mistake, but feel free to check out Atomik Cocktail's myspace site as well. You'll find the same tracks there! So who made the mistake and of much more importance is the question, did Joe Pangallo know that it's not Cutthroat on his LP or not? Kinda wicked situation...I wonder if Atomik Cocktail do know what happened with their material???
