Castle Blak: Babes in Toyland

Partly sleazy, partly powerful US-album. Some slight 70s influences, this album can be heard without remaining or bothering. Not bad, but not good enough to be recommended.

"Babes in Toyland", das Debüt von Castle Blak, ist eine recht durchschnittliche Hard Rock Scheibe, die man nur am Rande mit Metal in Verbindung bringen kann. Neben einem netten Cover gibt es acht gleichwertige Songs, die allesamt sehr soft und leicht 70er beeinflusst klingen. Das Album kann man am Stück weghören, ohne dass man davon sonderlich bewegt oder genervt wäre. Für den berühmten Zehner kann man die Scheibe aus der Kiste ziehen, mehr sollte man aber nicht investieren.
