Review

Sur Records...does a bell ring? Right guys, the MEDIEVAL STEEL label! Here's another band of this small label featuring the well known and highly appreciated "private pressing cardboard" as well as a quite extraordinary silver and golden colour print though the cover looks pretty nonsaying due to the stupid band name. There's also a lady on board with nice eyes and even better voice! Unfortunately 3+1 aren't that heavy at all. "On my own" reveals some basic heaviness indeed but the Rock influences devour almost all songs, which could be labelled Heavy Rock, where the word "Rock" is the most important part even though there are a few nice heavy solos included and the aforementioned "On my own" offers heavier guitars than the other 3 songs while the New Wave-ish "Back on my feet" is the most poppiest of all. It hasn't much to do with Hard Rock at all apart from the solo part. The record isn't that expensive (but appears seldom) but even these few bucks might be seen as thrown out of the window by some of you and when I'm honest I gotta agree. It's nothing important at all. Listen first or cry later!
