Tygers of Pan Tang: Animal instinct

Im Gegensatz zu den Vorgängern präsentiert sich "Animal instinct" blues- und Rock and Roll-lastiger. Ich fühle mich an "Wild Cat" erinnert. Das Album von den TYGERS welches mir am wenigsten gefallen hat.

Natürlich ist alles sauber gespielt und auch Sänger Jacopo Meille macht seine Sache gut, aber es fehlen die zündenden Songideen und für Hard Rocker und Heavy Metaller vor allem auch ein bisschen die kräftigen Gitarren.

Aus dem biederen unteren Durchschnitt ragen "Hot blooded" und "Dark rider" noch etwas hervor, genauso wie das ansprechende Coverartwork, können aber ein insgesamt schwaches Werk nicht retten, welches bei weitem nicht an das unterbewertete Album von 2001 "Mystical" heranreicht.

More bluesy and Rock and rollish than the real good albums before, nowadays the TYGERS go back to "Wild cat"-times. I am not a big fan of this first album, so I miss also on "Animal instinct" some fine song-ideas except maybe "Hoot blooeded" and "Dark rider". The vocals and instrumental-section are still fine and also the coverartwork is tasteful, but the songs are mostly average.
