Review
The cover is ugly as hell, therefore it's not really surprising that this LP is totally unknown, even many die-hard collectors don't know this band. And this is a pity, 'cos >Animal Raw< is a quite good melodic and powerful Heavy Metal album. The lyrics are boring, but the guitars are great, and the vocals are also above average. All in all it's a worthy addition to your collection if you are into 80ies German Metal that sounds like a less heavy version of HEAVENS GATE crossed with more melodic RUNNING WILD maybe. Best tracks are the pounding "Nightrider", the straight and powerful "Piece of the Action" and the hymn "Mystery Eagle".
