Baton Rouge: The wild side of paradise

Classic German Metal without especialness. Their only album "The wild Side of Paradise" contains solid, but average songs and shows a ridiculous cover. Only some minor highlights like "Deep in the Night" or "Nightmare". The crux is vocalist Adolf, who mostly screams insted of sings. No must, but nice to have.

Baton Rouge waren ein klassisches Metal Outfit ohne große Besonderheiten. Ihr einziges Album "The wild Side of Paradise" zeichnet sich durch ein eher albernes Cover und durchgängig gleichwertige, mittelprächtige Songs aus. Höhepunkte gibt es nur vereinzelt zu vermelden, etwa das flotte "Deep in the Night" oder "Nightmare". Knackpunkte sind für mich Sänger Adolf, der mehr kreischt als singt und die schwache Produktion. Keine Pflichtscheibe.
