Anguish Force: Invincible Imperium Italicum

Der Gesang ist beim Eröffnungssong so hoch, daß sich mir die Zähennägel aufdrehen. Das ist der typische KING DIAMOND-Effekt. Naja, nicht ganz so heftig, aber fast. In diese Richtung geht der erste Song "The Chalice of Steel". Mit "Into the arena of blood" geht es thrashiger und gesanglich in mittleren Lagen weiter. Zum Glück besinnt sich die Band auch im weiteren und der Sänger versucht nicht mehr das, was er leider auch sonst nicht sonderlich gut kann. Was soll das heißen? Das heißt, dass ich der Ansicht bin, daß die Vocals ein großer Schwachpunkt von ANGUISH FORCE sind. Die Songs an sich bewegen sich im Durchschnitt. Herausragend ist mir nicht wirklich etwas im Gedächtnis geblieben, aber das etwas in die US-Metal-Richtung gehende Material wird wohl seine Fans finden.

Heavy Metal with different influences up to Power Metal. The vocalist is the weakest point of the band. Somtimes he tries to sing high sometimes the vocals are on a normal level, but seldom fitting to the songs.
