Review
This 7'' single can be seen very often at the top of many collectors' wantlist (also due to alphabetical order..hehe) and that may make you think that something is going on here. In my opinion Ablaze is along with Waxwing from Seattle the most well hidden treasures of the entire US/ Canadian metal scene. "Psychopath" is a song with a killer riff, very Jag Panzer-ish one, insane, high pitched vocals and amazing solos while "Sadistic dreams" is more melodic in the beginning but ends up being a stunning metal anthem with deadly riffs and solos being combined in a way that only Jag Panzer in their best songs had managed up to that time. I can't really understand how this extremely talented band from Monreal ended up his career as a Metallica tribute group in 1993 and only released this single that nowadays can fetch to its owner hundreds of dollars.
