S.I.C.: Screaming in churches

Mit S.I.C. nahm sich das Alternativ/Punk/HC Label Au-Go-Go einer weiteren Metal Band aus dem Süden Australien's an. S.I.C. nannten ihren Stil selbst S.I.C. Core und es ist kein Geheimnis dass sie der Skate/Surf Szene entsprangen, demzufolge wurden auch diverse HC/Crossover Elemente in ihrem hektischen Thrash Metal vereint. Den Stil zu beschreiben fällt mir diesmal relativ leicht. Nehmt einen Batzen Lethal Aggression, addiert etwas D.R.I. ("Dealing with it"/"Four of a kind") sowie Kurt Brecht's Vocals und als Hauptzutat die göttliche Massappeal "Nobody likes a thinker" MLP und schon habt ihr eine weiteres geniales, hyperschnelles, rotziges Thrashcore Vinyl aus Down Unda! Auch wenn das Teil wie immer sehr sehr selten ist, für HC/Thrasher ist "Screaming in churches" ein MUSS!

Another more Metal oriented band on the classic alternative/Punk/HC label Au-Go-Go Records from Melbourne. S.I.C. did rise out of southern Australia's Skate/Surf scene and this time to descibe their style is rather easy. Take a piece of Lethal Aggression, add a little bit of D.R.I. ("Dealing with it"/"Four of a kind") including Kurt Brecht's vocals and the main part of the whole brew sounds like the godly "Nobody likes a thinker" MLP of Sydney's Massappeal. "Screaming in churches" is a violent, hyperfast but truly essential mini album for every HC/Thrasher. Unfortunately it seems there's been made just a very limited quantity of records. Haven't seen any copy for years now...
