Grand Bite: Todos hasta el Final

Ihre erste LP kennt so ziemlich jeder, doch "Todos hasta el Final" aus dem Jahre 1990 ist noch relativ unbeachtet. Wenn man das Vinyl aber mit "Al Borde del Precipicio" vergleicht, schneidet "Todos..." um ein Vielfaches besser ab. Schon allein weil man den Sound etwas unrumpeliger hinbekommen hat. Aber keine Bange, für die die Südamerika Metal wegen des einzigartigen Sounds lieben, Schrammelgitarren gibt es auch hier zu hören. Stilistisch ist es typisch südamerikanischer Metal der trotz des Jahres 1990 noch genau wie aus den mid 80's klingt. Größtenteil wird midtempo Metal mit ein paar schnelleren Nummern ("Poli-Faceticos", "Juegos Macabros") geboten, der auch ab und zu ein episches Klangbild offenbart. Bis auf 2 Totalausfälle (u.a. eine Joe Cocker Coverversion) kann man sich das Teil durchaus antun, wenn es der Geldbeutel zulässt. Da die Verbreitung nicht gerade großflächig war, ist der Preis auch dementsprechend konstant hoch. Trotz aller sympatiebehafteten Worte meinerseits, ist die LP wirklich nur Leuten zu empfehlen die wissen was mit Südamerika Metal auf sie zukommt. Der Otto-Normal-Metaller wird schwer mit derlei obskurer metallischer Kost zu kämpfen haben! Südamerika Sammler = kaufen! Dem Rest sei ein Probehören wärmstens ans Herz gelegt! Nur für Liebhaber...

Compared to their first album "Al Borde del Precipicio" "Todos hasta el Final" got a much better sound without sounding clean btw. It has got the typical south american production as well as the typical southern style. You'll mainly listen to midtempo Metal trax that truly aren't outstanding. It's only solid mid 80's Metal with raw, unpolished sound, that only guys should buy who know what to expect. You shouldn't buy this album blindly, coz you'll 666% NOT like it at all if you aren't familar with the typical south american style. With "Poli-Faceticos" and "Juegos Macabros" there are also two faster songs featured, as well as several epic parts. Better listen first before buying. It's only recommended for South America Metal collectors and those who love it very obscure...
