Review

Far better than "Let there be Metal", this record can be recommended to every US Metal fan. Straight forward, powerful Metal with high-pitched, but not too good vocals and a poor production should suit US collectors well. Unfortunately, the cover artwork and comments on second world war shown on cover and back-cover are typical US-nonsense.

Deutlich gesteigert zeigen sich Armed Forces auf ihrem Zweitwerk, "Heavy Artillery". Das martialische Coverartwork mag Geschmackssache sein, musikalisch gibt's nichts zu meckern: straighter, durchdachter Power Metal mit hohem Gesang wird geboten. Produktionstechnisch etwas schwach, songtechnisch dafür umso besser, kurz: eine weitere Pflichtscheibe des US Power.
