How to review one of your favourite albums of all time? I'll try as reliable as possible. It's a pity that many of those great US melodic metal outfits back in the glorious 80s like BATTLE BRATT, LION or FIFTH ANGEL never found the approval they would have deserved. AGENTZ were among them, and they were on-top! Their testimony, released on the arcane French Dream Records label, comes with a naively painted, but charming cover and consists of eight songs. To me, it is fairly impossible to single one out, they're all of the same quality. Powerful, melodic and catchy, crowned by a singer worth his money. Grab this collectors' masterpiece while you can, you won't regret it and surely you will hardly find any better melodic metal album!

Eine überragende Scheibe haben die Amis AGENTZ mit ihrem 8-Track Debüt abgeliefert, die leider anno dazumal völlig ignoriert wurde. Angesprochen sollten sich vor allem Fans von FIFTH ANGEL, LION, TREAT, MAGNUM oder BON JOVI ("First" und"7800 Fahrenheit") fühlen. Sehe ich da jetzt ein paar Gestalten die Nase rümpfen? Ihr unwissenden Würmer, AGENTZ sind KEIN Weischpülermetal!!! Geboten wird Heavy-Melodic-Metal vom feinsten, der zwar teilweise sehr kommerziell und auf den (damaligen) amerikanische Markt ausgerichtet erscheint, aber dennoch nie schwuchtelig wirkt. Geprägt von den sehr gut harmonierenden (und teilweise sehr bombastischen) Gitarren- und Keybord-Einsätzen, den herausragenden Melodien und dem überragenden Shouter driftet man von einem Highlight zum anderen. Abgerundet mit einer knalligen Produktion und einem netten Airbrush Cover, sollte keiner (der auf die oben genannten Bands abfährt) diese Platte ignorieren. Leider ist auch diese "Dream Records" Platte (siehe ESP) mittlerweile schon rar wie Sau, aber preislich gesehen noch im Bereich des Möglichen. Sollte (MUSS) in eine gut sortierte Sammlung!!! Ende der Durchsage!
