Zwischen 1982 und 1986 nahm diese völlig unbekannte NWoBHM-Band ihr Songmaterial auf und ich bin sehr verwundert, daß es bis 2007 gedauert hat, daß endlich das hochklassige Material seinen Weg auf eine CD fand. Das würde ich mir mit schönem Fantasy-Cover als LP wünschen. Die hervorragende Stimme von Derek Hodd passt perfekt zu den leicht epischen (und mit episch meine ich NWoBHM-episch und nicht tralala) Songs von CHAIN REACTION. Man nehme ein bisschen SARACEN, SPARTAN WARRIOR, gebe eine Prise TYTAN dazu und schon kommt eine Mischung heraus, die mich wirklich restlos überzeugt. Das Songwriting steht im Vordergrund. Die Band schafft eigentständige und interessante Songstrukturen und es bleibt lediglich die Frage offen, wer das völlig belanglose Coverartwork verbrochen hat. Ansonsten sei "All over the world" wirklich jedem NWoBHM-Fan empfohlen!

Between 1982 and 1986 this totally obscure NWoBHM-band recorded their tracks and its a pity that the material wasn't released before. For luck now it is and we can listen to outstanding tracks like the title song, "Thunder in our hands", "Halloween" and many others. Absolute hit-potential and still inevitable to check out for all lovers of true english steel! Great vocalist, fine musicianship but who made this useless coverartwork?
