DARK ILLUSION überzeugen auch auf ihrem zweiten Album mit eingängigen Songs. Und natürlich glänzt besonders Tomas Viktröm, der auch schon Sänger für CANDLEMASS, STORMWIND und THERION war.

Ab und zu werden etwas zu viele Klischees bemüht, was den Gesamteindruck aber nur wenig nach unten zieht. Ein Heavy Metal-Album was Spaß macht und zum Glück ohne nervigen Kinderliedsymphonicbombastfaktor auskommt. Das Coverartwork ist auch gelungen, also was will man mehr. The scond album from DARK ILLUSION can convince again with good catchy songs and the fine vocals of Tomas Vikström who joined CANDLEMASS, STORMWIND and THERION in the past.

Sometimes the band looses a bit uniqueness, but all in all the albums shows what a good Metal album needs and to make us even more happy it lacks the enerving symphonic bombast a lot of bands include in their sound today.
