Das mittlerweile 4. Album von METALSTEEL geht in die gleiche Richtig wie die Vorgänger. Wie schon auf den Alben zuvor spielt die Band True Metal gesungen in Englisch. Eine Sprache, die die Jungs nicht immer hundertprozentig beherrschen, weshalb es in Landessprache wohl authentischer klingen würde.

Die Songs sind solide gespielt, auch wenn wirkliche Überraschungsmommente fehlen. Großartige Ausfälle sind nicht zu verzeichnen. Alles bleibt auch gleichbleibendem Niveau.

Bei "Let me be your guide" wurde James Rivera von HELSTAR verpflichtet, was gleichzeitig auch der stärkste Song des Albums ist. Mit etwas Unterstützung im Songwriting durch James Rivera könnte die Band einen großen Schritt nach vorne machen, vor allem da im eigenen Land die Konkurrenz nicht sehr groß ist.

The fourth album from METALSTEEL shows again True Metal like the albums before. Again the guys play their powering Metal sung in english language with a quite strong accent.

The material is good and solid, but lacks innovation and really outstanding moments. Nevertheless the whole album is played tight and powerful. On "Let me be your guide" they play with James Rivera from HELSTAR. This song seems to be the strongest on the album.

Maybe with a little songwriting help from James Rivera the guys could make a big move forward especially as they dont have too much competition in their own country.

So if you like true Heavy Metal with some US-influence just have a listen to METALSTEEL.
