Review

RUST is a romanian Metal band playing typical traditional 80s Metal with influences mainly of German Metal bands!
"Legends" shows fantastic musicianship, but suffers a big from the English vocals which still dont fit perfectly to Mirceas voice. There are some strong, some weaker songs on this debut, but all shows a lot of talent and especially the instrumental parts are excellent.

Nicht zu letzt der ziemlich akzentlastige Gesang erinnert an die deutschen Mittachtziger und auch das Songmaterial geht in diese Richtung. Die Jungs sind starke Musiker und haben bei einigen Songs auch einige wirklich überzeugende Melodiebögen drauf.
Das geht alles sicher auch noch besser, aber erstmal liegt ein ansprechendes Album vor in das man durchaus gerne reinhört. Besonders die Instrumentalpassagen sind exzellent.
