VORTEX bleiben sich mit ihrem 2010er Album und damit dem kauzigen Heavy Metal treu. Wer die seltsame Metal-Mischung schon auf den Vorgängern mochte, wird auch "Drink bat blood" gerne in den CD-Schrank stellen und freut sich an den eigentümlichen Kompositionen sowie dem kultigen Coverartwork.
Für "Nicht VORTEX-Erfahrene" empfehle ich ein Herantasten mit dem Titelsong, der sowohl das doomige Grundelement der Band als auch die Abgefahrenheit der Songs gut transportiert.
VORTEX still write songs like they did before which means very strange heavy Metal and a pleasure to the fans of this quite unique band.
