Nach langer Abwesenheit und einem Live-Album sind HIGHWAY CHILE zürück. Der Sound ist etwas aufpolierter aber sonst steck man noch genauso in den 80ern wie wir die Band in Erinnerung haben.
Am Gesang ist Stan Verbraak der sein Handwerk natürlich gut beherrscht. Die Songs haben teilweise einen US-amerikanischen Einschlag. Das wird vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache sein, aber wer z.B. KEEL mag sollte auch HIGHWAY CHILE in der Sammlung haben.
After many years they are back with a studio-album. The US-american influence still will be not everybodys cup of tea, but the songs are well played, the band owns a strong vocalist and usually should pleasure fans of KEEL and similar bands.
