Die Niederländer von ELIZIUM spielen ihre ganz eigene Art von dunklem Rock, Düster Metal, Gothic oder wie auch immer man das nennen mag. Ob "War in heaven", "Nevermore" oder "A tragic end". Alles bewegt sich auf sehr hohem Niveau und man kann auch einen gewissen Ohrwurmcharakter nicht absprechen. Da sind genauso 69 EYES drin wie epische Metal-Einflüsse. Das ist alles extrem gekonnt zusammengewebt. Guter Sänger, gute Musiker. Hoffentlich geht die Band in dieser doch recht unübersichtlichen Dark Rock Szene nicht unter, wäre schade drum!

The Band from Holland ELIZIUM play their own kind of dark Rock or Gothic or however you will name it. For luck they avoid growling vocals and other clichees. Maybe the cover artwork is a bit too "middle of the road" but in fact its one of the better ones in this genre and transports the style of the music quite good without having heard a tone from it.
You will find influences of 69 Eyes beside Epic Metal combined very professional. The fine dark vocalist and the good musicians have the ability to write really goods songs. This is the most important so I hope they will have a chance in the extremely complex dark rocking Metal scene.
