Review

This Single is just a diamond in the rough for those of you who are devoted to traditional Metal made in the Eastern countries. You wont find very original things regarding the music, bu the energy and rawness of the recording is quite amusing for the time the two tracks were recorded, and well, one easily can note that the band was looking for their own personality. The fisrt cut "A Satan" is a pretty good song at mid tempo, which features a very good interlude on accustic guitars and keyboards in the back. As common, the vocals are on the first plane, but are essential part of this song to make it even more powerful. Some deep vocals gives a martial touch on both songs, being the B-side track "A mask", also at mid tempo, which flashes us with some brillant moments of inspiration. If I
remember well this song was later recorded live by Pokolgep and was also
used by Kalapacs I his debit album, obviously sounding different. The sound
of this 7" might be a bit dirty, as usually we can find in the debut recordings of most of the bands, but in the case of Pokolgep, this help them a bit to rise up the metallic sound they wanted to archive. Truly for East
European metal lovers.
