Review
Douglas is one of first metal bands of Greece. Created by Douglas brothers (bass/drums), Tony Contaxakis (guitar) and Cornelius (vocal). They released one Single and two Lps and they split up in 1991. Some people distributed the band as Australian band, but this isn't correct, is Greek band and some says that Cornelius are Klaus Eulley of Craaft but also isn't correct, Cornelius is greek. This single is one if rarest records of metal. In the first side we listen a great cover of Who's song "Baba 'O Riley". In second side we listen an excellent metal anthem the "I'm free now". One of greatest metal song!!! The vocals of Cornelius are supreme, the guitars by Tony are hot like hell and rhythm section by Douglas brothers are solid like rock! Also keyboards, played by Demetrios Papademetriou are very good. The style of band is traditional 80s heavy metal! The song "I'm free now" included in soundtrack of 80s greek movie "Revans". After this single the band change the sound to more hard rock/aor style and released two Lps, the "State of rock" in 1987 and "Mad" in 1991. Both are great and rare albums.
