Review

Wonder where they found that "singer" ... without him this could sound much better since the music isn't that bad. It's let's say Heavy Rock (to get in detail it's AOR-ish Metal/Hard Rock) that sounds in places a bit poppy due to the keyboards, but the guitars are definately heavy, especially on "Atlantis". But that guy there has such a penetrant voice and it's mixed so loud in the foreground that you are about to close your eyes when he's trying to find the higher tones that you wish that you're deaf! As long as he's singing normal, it's ok but just don't let him singing those high pitched parts - Cheesus help us all! As said before, basically WITCHBOARD are quite heavy, but with those keyboards it turns more into hitparade stuff, although the guitar solos aren't of bad parents. This 7" is a 3-6 Euros affair, so there's no real reason to not check them out if you wish. But beware of the vocalist!
