Review

Guess I don't need to tell you that all these bands with 2 X-es are always any Posers or Hard Rock troops so I didn't expect any heavier stuff either. "Girl" pretty much leaves you with a dropped down jaw for a second or 2 because that was the least what I'd expect from a german village band. Fantastic Hard Rock with unexpected cool solo parts. Except for the solos this higher standard wasn't kept on the whole vinyl (B-side is weaker) but at least partly they reach it here and there again. They might play a kinda DEEP PURPLE-ish (80's) style but it's pretty listenable and as aforementioned in places unexpectedly good for the usual german village bands. Surprisingly you can't find anything about them in the www, not even the record shows up. If it helps, they came from Bad Kreuznach and the label address is from the same city. If it wasn't pressed privately by FOXX then it was any independent label. You don't need to expect a higher price since "One size fits all heads" is a rather unknown record and the band pic doesn't really helps selling these records.
